« Chez Max de Crimax » is the story of a bar with several floors,itself drawn in a bar in collaboration with Sanae Nicolas.
This drawing is the layering of a hallucinated architecture and strange characters.
Like a board game, the drawing turns into a puzzle when the squares are detached. The characters “play at society” inside it.
They reproduce a small, closed world with winners and losers: those who take up all the space and those who are transparent, those who are in and those who are out, served or serving, together or alone, well-behaved or tricksters, those who hide or show themselves!
48 unique t-shirts were embroidered, each carrying a square fragment of « Chez Max de Crimax ».
