/ square island constructions atlas

In this series of 36 drawings (and possibly more, as it is an open and continuously growing project), I have constructed buildings using lines.
By this, I mean that I employed lines as if they were a building material for these two-dimensional architectures. Removing one or more lines causes the building (the drawing) to collapse.
Can a two-dimensional tectonics exist? Can a drawing feel the weight of gravity?

I imagined all these buildings situated in a place I called Square Island: a fictional square-shaped island whose territory is defined by a grid of 1 ×1 cm squares.
The inhabitants of this geometrical island are the architectures themselves, ghosts of a society that has disappeared, or, more likely, one that never existed.
I would like, one day, to publish an atlas of the constructions of Square Island.
